Plant 3-4 seeds per plant 6-8" apart in full sun just below soil surface when the soil temperature reaches 70 degrees. Keep soil moist, but not waterlogged until established. Seeds will germinate in 1-2 weeks, but can take longer in colder weather. While marigolds can tolerate a slight drought, they bloom better with regular waterings.
