Everyone knows the daisy; she loves me? She loves me not? In many areas this colorful daisy is considered a weed. It is very easy to grow and can easily spread in a meadow, especially where livestock graze. Most cattle avoid this plant and therefore leave it to propagate year after year. The Ox-Eye Daisy is primarily found in fields, pastures & prairies, slopes. Plant in almost any soil in spring, summer or fall. This species competes well with grasses, and will tolerate dry or moist conditions. Plant the seed anytime, and expect bloom after one full winter. (This species will not bloom in no-frost regions.)
