We even care a lot about our dairy and that’s why we use 100% Grade A milk and cream from American cows not treated with artificial growth hormones*. To top it all off, our ingredients are also Non-GMO sourced! Our commitment to high quality ingredients like these stems from our founder, William Breyer, who in 1866 started his small ice cream operation in Philadelphia. He had a Pledge of Purity which guided the type of ingredients he used in his ice cream creations. Now, more than 150 years later, we still follow his philosophy to use only the best to make our desserts.
