Atmosphere olfactory The Eau de Parfum is inspired Extract, with which it shares the signature floral-aldehyde. Inspiration In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel turns to Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's fragrance which smells of woman", rare and intense. The perfumer proposes a visionary composition which provides a novel use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle prefers the version number 5 of the fragrance and, per its name, choose this simple number. For this new composition, adopts an extreme bottle, adorned with a white label and a cabochon faceted. In 1986, Jacques Polge, nose of Chanel since 1978, reinterprets the olfactory composition of its predecessor to create a larger version of # 5: Eau de Parfum.
