Description Aquarium and pond pump filters are a critical component of both freshwater ponds and marine aquarium. Biological and Mechanical filters remove physical and soluble chemical waste products from the body of water, simplifying maintenance, and keeps water clear and clean. Furthermore, aquarium filters are necessary to support life as ponds and aquariums are relatively small, non-moving, and closed volumes of water compared to the natural environment of most fish. The process of mechanical filtration removes particulate material from the water column. This particulate matter may include uneaten food, feces, or plant or algal debris. The solid wastes are first collected, and then must be physically removed from the aquarium/pond system. This pond pressure bio filter is designated for filtering normal pond water.
