A pair of wheel chocks to prevent your car from rolling as you lift it, a precision 2-ton trolley jack (5 3/8 to 13 inches lifting range) to raise it and two dependable 2-ton jack stands (10-3/8 to 16-3/8 inches lifting range) that are strong enough to support it. Once the car is securely chocked and resting on the jack stands, you can use the folding 36-inch creeper to slip underneath and find the problem.
