Mr. Gasket Super Security Hood Lock Kit utilizes a cylindrical key lock mechanism which is virtually pick-proof. The kit includes 2 chrome plated lock sets, 2 fully threaded lock pins with 4 nuts and 2 keys. This kit must be used in conjunction with the factory hood latch assembly. Super security hood lock kit is not designed for use as the only hood retention mechanism. These kits are the safe way to keep your hood or deck lid firmly attached. They allow for easy removal without any extra tools. Each kit includes all of the parts needed to install 2 hood pins.
