About Gardner Bender EGB-2 Non-Contact Voltage, Digital

This kit features three of the most used electrical testers on the market, the Non-Contact Voltage Tester, the Digital Multimeter, and the GFCI Outlet Tester. No electrician, inspector, technician or homeowner should be caught without this kit. The non-contact voltage testers allows the user to verify the presence of AC voltage prior to working on an electrical installation or during troubleshooting without requiring physical contact with live electrical conductors and features both audible (beeping) and visual indicators to alert the user of the presence of AC voltage from 50V to 600V. The digital Multimeter is designed to work on most household appliances and is equipped with an easy-to-read 3. 5 inch digital display and three testing functions: AC Voltage to 500V, DC Voltage to 600V and Resistance to 2 meg Ohms. The GFCI Tester tests for ground fault interruption, open ground, open neutral, open hot, hot/ground reverse, hot/neutral reverse and correct wiring for standard outlets, GFCI outlets, and extension cords.
