Dirty electricity is erratic spikes/surges of energy traveling along power lines and wiring where only standard 60Hz AC electricity should be. It is created by electronics, energy-efficient lights, and many other devices, as they manipulate electrical current to operate. Dirty electricity can circulate throughout a building and to other buildings, radiating potentially harmful EMFs as it goes. It has been associated with health problems and can interfere with the functioning of sensitive equipment. The meter can show BEFORE-filter and AFTER-filter measurements on the same screen simultaneously, making comparisons easy.
