About Meinl Cymbals Hihat Tambourine For A Dry And

Get a tambourine sound with your hihat foot using the Meinl Hihat Tambourine. This version of our handy and compact hihat tambourines was developed with Meinl Cymbals artist, Benny Greb, to achieve a mellow and vintage tambourine sound. It easily mounts to any hihat stand pull rod to deliver a responsive jingle accent whenever you open and close your hihats with your foot. A quick access wing nut allows for fast setup, adjustment, or removal, and it's designed to create a super strong grip on your hihat stand pull rod that stays in place even with heavy playing. A take on Benny's Sand Series Cymbals from Meinl, eight pairs of solid brass jingles have been sandblasted to work-in a dry, vintage sound with warmth, depth and outstanding dynamic control. The light, yet solid and durable steel frame measures 5" across and gives you a seamless touch as you play without a heavy lagging feel. This hihat tambourine is a great accent piece for drummers playing intimate acoustic settings, live rock shows, house of worship music, jazz gigs or recording sessions. When you don't need tambourine throughout the whole song, it will remain quiet as you play on your hihat cymbals without foot accents. Designed in Germany, Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturing business that was established in Germany in 1951. Our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure you're delivered the absolute finest quality.
