It provides a complete food source for puppies that have been orphaned or rejected as well as supplemental feeding for nursing puppies. This liquid milk replacer gives puppies the milk proteins they need along with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to help their bodies grow and develop properly. Directions for Feeding: All puppies should receive their mother’s milk for at least 2 days, if possible. Colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some infections. Warm Esbilac to room or body temperature. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons (30 mL) per 4 oz. (115 g) of body weight daily. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies’ needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Small and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Storage: Store unopened can in a cool, dry place. Opened can discard if not used within 72 hours. May be frozen in single serving size containers for up to 6 weeks.
