Our Biothane O Ring Flat Collar is Safer and Sturdier than other collars in the industry as we use the hole punch design to prevent the buckle from breaking, snapping or coming loose while using. In addition, we use the Safety O Ring on the back (see below for detailed info). Please do not leave your dog unsupervised in a crate or as a tie out on a stake (True with any collar).

The O ring or Center Safety ring is added on the back side of the collar as an added safety mechanism for all dog owners and their dogs. Hunters have used this design for years so that it allows a flexing or rolling of the collar to reduce the chance of your dog getting stuck on a tree limb or object (see image in listing). It is not foolproof; but it is an added protection measure.
