Traditional Dahi curd yogurt culture. Dahi is a traditional yogurt originating from the Indian Subcontinent, usually prepared from cow's milk. It is popular throughout the Indian subcontinent. CHILD APPROVED! Our child tester said this is not her favorite, but that she sure does like it in smoothies for the tartness it adds! She gave this culture ONE THUMB UP!! saying that while she likes it, she thinks it may have enough sourness that other kids would not. UPDATE: Child Tester said she wants to run through all the yogurts she gave ratings on during her burnout period, including ones with positive ratings. This one now has a TWO THUMBS UP!! rating because she said she absolutely loves how thick and creamy it is, and that even if it’s slightly over-fermented it’s still completely delicious if you add a spoon of honey to the mix. I was able to snag about a tablespoon for the freezer before she finished the jar, but she did eat the entire pint in one sitting. You will receive at least 1 teaspoon of dried yogurt starter.
