Place a spoonful beads in a cup and add boiling water. The beads quickly melt together and become transparent. The melted plastic can be moulded by hand, rolled out into sheets and stuck onto many surfaces.
About Hand Mouldable Plastic 500g
Description A hand mouldable thermoplastic, which comes in the form of 2mm white beads. Heat the plastic beads in boiling water or with a hot air blower until they become transparent. They start to melt at about 65ºC. You can mould them into any shape by hand while hot. The plastic becomes less pliable as it cools down and become like hard white plastic at normal room temperature. It can be painted, drilled, cut and sawn. This plastic can be remelted and reused many times over. It is non toxic and safe for children to use. It is widely used in schools for craft and science lessons.
