Try 16 + 2 Bonus natural colorants soap making supplies to find your new favorite. General guidelines: For Cold process : Mix 1 tsp of the powder with 1 Tbsp of oil. Add 1 dispersed tsp at a time at trace. You can also infuse the powder. You can use up to 1 Tbsp of color per pound of soap. For Melt and pour Mix 1 teaspoon of the powder with 1 tablespoon of 99 percent isopropyl alcohol. Add 0.5 dispersed tsp at a time to the melted soap. Some botanicals should be infused in oil before adding them to your soap oils in your recipe. Warning: powders can stain. Results will vary based on usage rates, base oils and knowledge of proper color combinations.
