About Flourish Art Materials 48'' Carbon Fiber Mahl
The story of the CARBON FIBRE MAHL STICK began some 5 years ago. As a professional artists I had been using a mahl stick at the easel for upto 8 hours a day all my working life. Over some 25 years I had used various aluminium mahl sticks and wooden ones but unfortunately found them heavy, cumbersome and poorly made. In 2015 I unfortunately developed tendonitis in my lower arm due to repeated use of heavy mahl sticks. I set out to design the ultimate mahl stick which would be both super light but also be super strong. The CARBON FIBRE MAHL STICK was created and now has been used for literally 1000's of hours at mine and other fellow artists easel's. We are really proud that this 21st centrury redesign of an essential artists tool will be used to help other artists create their own masterpieces in both comfort, style and safety for many years to come. This artists equipment is precision made in our worksop in the UK. It comes with a full 7 year US warranty fulfilled by us, 'Flourish art materials’, the manufacturer. This covers all aspects of the mahl stick including the tube, ball and aluminium connectors.
