1x LARP Safe Replica Soft Foam Katana OR Longswords Our 3rd generation injection moulded soft plastic sword is enhanced with Carbon Fibre Core, Kevlar Reinforced tip ,and the Longsword has a counter weight to provide improve safety and performance! These realistic soft plastic Katana and Longswords are suitable for Live Action Roleplay (LARP), Cosplay props, Kendo practice, or perhaps as a decorative ornament for your house or dojo! LONG SWORD - Our Longswords come with double edge blades, carbon fibre core and a counter weighted pommel. KATANA - A Katana is a Japanese sword that can be used in either 1 or 2 hands. Our Katanas have a carbon fibre core KATANA HANDLE WRAPPINGS (TSUKA) - Our swords are available with either a wrapped or an unwrapped handle. The wrapping is made in a traditional Japanese style using strips of coloured cloth. We have 3 colours of wrapping - Black, Red or unwrapped . Unwrapped handles are black. HILT DESIGN (TSUKA)- The hilt or Tsuba of our swords come in 3 Designs - Flower pattern, Fishes Pattern and Dragon Pattern Tips for safe use of our Longswords & Katanas when LARPing: ❌ Do not rest your sword tip down; you will damage the tip. Rest it hilt down ❌ Do not stab with these swords; even though the tips are designed to be safe, stabbing is more dangerous. Instead use a slashing motion ✔ Use your wrist instead of your arm to move the blade; this is a fast yet safe way to wield your sword. Try slashing to the left and then to the right side for a safe continuous attack ✔ Begin by using the sword in 1 hand; they are very light and can easily be wielded in one hand. Once you are proficient in using your sword safely you may consider using it 2 handed. ✔ We find smiling at your friends as you hack them to pieces makes for a great game!
