FARM TO TABLE FRESH! Ellie’s Best Raw Sweet Almonds are sold in 3, 5 and 10 pound bags at excellent prices. Grown on pristine soils, they are full flavored with good nutrition value. Our grower's family spent almost 150 years to develop the best natural methods to produce these sweet, tasty almonds. Five generations ago in 1875, a family farming tradition began. The goal has always been to work in harmony with nature to grow the most natural crops. In that time a great deal of wisdom was gained, allowing those goals to come to fruition. Our orchard's almond trees are grown on some of the most fertile soil in the world. Today, sustainable farming methods have been developed using natural and conventional technologies. A huge solar array supplies the farm's power needs, so every crop is grown and prepared with the power of the sun. Soil composition techniques and moisture reading technology is used to be sure the almond trees are not over or under irrigated, to conserve precious water and keep them healthy and resistant to pests. Regular soil testing is done to ensure the soils are nutrient rich and fertile.
