Patent pending processing method: Our unique processing method allows us to minimize the chances of mold forming on the leaves without the overuse of sulfur dioxide. This allows us to address the 2 most common complaints associated with corn husks which are mold and the strong chemical smell that comes from abusing the use of sulfites.

Approximately 25-40 leaves: Each package contains approximately 25-40 leaves depending on the size of the husks contained in the package.

4 to 11 inches wide: Only leaves measuring 4 inches or more are selected for packaging. Disclaimer; the sorting process is not perfect and sometimes smaller leaves are not detected by our sorting team and they do end up making it in to the package. However, the number of leaves under 4 inches should be minimal. Any leaves that may not seem wide enough should be combined and overlapped to achieve the desired width. This will avoid wastage.

Premium Quality: We only package the leaves located in the interior of the of the ear of corn. The interior leaves have minimal exposure to the outside natural elements as they are protected by the exterior leaves. This results in husks that have better color consistency and less damage from the sun, weather, and other natural elements.

Our leaves are hand harvested and packaged with care and minimal processing by local farmers in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Each leaf is selected for quality and size to ensure that there is minimal waste on your end. Our packages yield between 80 to 120 leaves per package, all measuring between 5 and 11 inches in width. Unlike other sellers we vacuum pack our packages to preserve the freshness of the leaves and ensure that you receive a wholesome product . We are extremely selective with our providers and source our leaves from a select few that share our beliefs in not cutting corners when it comes quality.
