Extra virgin Siberian pine nut oil (EVSPO) is a delicious, golden-colored oil cold-pressed from the small kernels (commonly called pine nuts), which are produced by pine trees growing in Siberia - a remote region of Russia famous for its pristine forests, crystal-clear rivers and lakes, as well as remarkably vibrant health of its inhabitants. In addition to being an exquisite gourmet cooking oil, it also has a history of many centuries of therapeutic use in Russian and Chinese systems of traditional medicine. The native people of Siberia have always used pine nut oil as an all-natural gastrointestinal remedy for such inflammation-related problems as peptic ulcers, gastritis, and acid reflux, as well as a metabolism enhancer and a gentle digestive aid. Extra virgin Siberian pine nut oil is a rich source of natural antioxidants, such as vitamin E, carotenoids (including beta-carotene, used by our bodies to produce vitamin A), niacin (vitamin PP), magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, manganese, and amino acids. It also supplies the body with many vital nutrients, including good fats, fat-soluble vitamins, as well as essential macro- and microelements. It is recommended to take at least 5 ml (one teaspoon) of extra virgin Siberian pine nut oil three times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before a meal. Some of our clients also find it useful to take an extra spoonful of pine nut oil at bedtime. All the Siberian pine nuts that we use to produce our extra virgin oil are harvested by hand in the pristine wild forests of Siberia. There are no cities or factories nearby to pollute the air and water. There are no roads. Nothing to disturb the unspoiled Northern wilderness. Our pickers take great care to harvest only the choicest Siberian pine cones that will produce the highest-quality nuts and oil. By gently pressing the delicate Siberian pine nuts at low temperatures (the way it has been done by the people of Siberia for centuries), we obtain a richly flavored, golden-colored gourmet oil which is as delicious as it is healthy.
