Welcome to Melourgia, a nomadic beekeeping company in Chios, Greece! Chios is an island in the Aegean Sea with rich biodiversity and is a hotspot for endemic plants. The island's dry summer heat and relative lack of rainfall gives plants and herbs an intense potency. Nectar and honeydew from these species offer Melourgia bees the opportunity to make some very unique and aromatic honey. Eat by the spoonful; spread it with a knife; drizzle it on yogurt, cheese, or oats; add it to your tea or coffee; substitute it for sugar in your favorite recipe! Bee creative, and enjoy!
