The component features pre-applied thermal pads for heat transfer and mounts to the Raspberry Pi 5 board directly using spring-loaded push pins. A passive heatsink delivers lower idle temperatures (around +45°C). When the fan is utilized, noise levels range from 35dB to 40dB. For normal use, adding cooling to the Raspberry Pi 5 is optional.
