About Verity Systems V91 HDD Max Manual Hard Drive

The V91 HDD Max manual hard drive degausser is a second generation, high energy degaussing tool enabling hard drive destruction with the complete erasure of data from high coercivity hard drives and tapes. Erasure is guaranteed every time and takes as little as 12 seconds per hard drive or backup tape. The Verity Systems V91 HDD Max hard drive degausser is designed for low volume operators who require effective yet low budget hard drive destruction, allowing the operator to destroy magnetic media to avoid security risks. With an effective field strength of up to 7,000 gauss - the V91 HDD Max is particularly recommended for erasing hard disk drives with high density coercivity levels. With figures in excess of –75dB for high energy metal tapes and up to –90dB on standard oxide tapes. These include data hard drives, DLT, SDLT, 3480s and more. The unit is manually operated, low noise and can be stationed on a desk in an office environment (available only in 208-220VAC/60Hz
