FOR FULL SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS, PLEASE REVIEW THE PRODUCT PAGE AT NOOELEC.COM Experience enhanced performance and versatility with the Ham It Down 3GHz Downconverter. Designed to convert signals from the 1.55GHz to 3.1GHz range into the frequency range of software-defined radio devices like our NESDR series of RTL-SDRs and the HackRF, this high-performance downconverter takes your radio experience to new heights. Whether you're looking to expand the frequency range of your radio, engage in satellite reception, or conduct scientific research, the Ham It Down 3GHz Downconverter is the ideal companion. This device utilizes a 1.5GHz local oscillator (LO) frequency. To compensate for this, you can utilize the downconvert/upconvert frequency offset function available in most SDR software packages. Alternatively, you can tune to your frequency of interest minus 1.5GHz. In other words, in order to utilize the entire range capability of the Ham It Down, your radio would need to be able to tune to 50MHz - 1.6GHz. Each Ham It Down module allows for 3 different power options, but you should only power with one option at any given time! The recommended power input through the SMA output port (for bias-tee capable SDRs like the NESDR SMArTee XTR) is 4V-5.5V DC. Alternatively, if you don't have a bias-tee capable SDR, you can use the external power options--the USB C port, or DC barrel connector via the included DC to USB C adapter. The recommended external power input is 4.0V-5.5V DC. Upgrade your software-defined radio capabilities with the Ham It Down 3GHz Downconverter. Unlock a world of possibilities and explore new frequencies with ease. Order now and elevate your radio experience to new heights!
