The windporting feature dramatically lessens background noise from high winds and other severe weather conditions. IP55, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Includes a Push-to-Talk switch, swivel clip, and quick disconnect latch. Designed with a large housing for users operating with gloves or in more rugged environments. The 3.5mm jack is located on the side of the microphone for receive-only accessories. APX Remote Speaker Microphones have been designed to include the same speaker that is in the APX portable radio. These microphones deliver audio that is clearer, more intelligible and up to 50% louder than XTS series remote speaker microphones. The PMMN4062AL is the same mic that includes an orange emergency button. and features Noise Cancelling enhancements versus windporting.
