Enjoy enhanced privacy with the 142 CTCSS/DCS privacy codes featured in both the MicroMobile®® and GXT1000VP4. These codes offer you plenty of channel options, so you can have secure and interference-free conversations, blocking out unwanted transmissions. Stay weather-informed with NOAA Weather Scan, a feature included in both the MicroMobile®® and GXT1000VP4. This function automatically scans through 10 available weather (WX) band channels, locking onto the strongest weather channel to keep you updated on severe weather conditions. The NOAA Weather Alert will sound an alarm, warning you of any impending severe weather risks in your area.
