It is the proper balance of these ingredients and the strict attention to time and temperature during production that results in a formula so effective, that it readily absorbs into all types of leather, immediately rejuvenating, softening and extending its vitality and life. Boot Guard is completely waterproof and barnyard acid proof yet allows leather to breathe. Boot Guard has never contained any harsh silicones that can damage leather and stitching over a period of time. Simply apply Boot Guard Leather Dressing to the surface of clean, dry leather while paying particular attention to the seams. Allow Boot Guard to soak in for a few minutes and finish with a soft bristle brush. For optimal protection, repeat application. Advisory: As with other leather treatments, it is possible for the product to darken or change the appearance of suede, nubuck, or some unfinished leathers. We recommend using a spot test in an inconspicuous place to ensure that you are pleased with the results.
