The high-quality Maksutov-Cassegrain reflector telescope is equipped with a very compact but powerful optical system and is suitable for planetary and DeepSky observations as well as for smaller nebulae.

The 152 mm aperture and a focal length of 1900 mm allow magnifications up to 300x. The GP prism rails with stainless steel clamping surface enable mounting on almost all other telescopic mounts.

The tube is equipped with a high-quality Hexafoc focuser with a diameter of 65 mm and the handle ensures easy transport and also offers a mounting surface for cameras.

The Messier telescope systems are expandable and retrofittable, so they can be used far beyond the initial entry point. Maksutov telescopes Maksutov telescopes are very compact and therefore ideally suited for portable use or for when travelling. But the field of view is rather narrow when compared to achromatic refractor telescopes. However, this combination makes Maksutov telescopes ideal instruments for observing the Moon and planets. And when equipped with an Amici prism, they are also very well suited to nature-watching and nature photography. New - with immediate effect, this telescope comes with the new improved Hexafoc focuser. This focuser has a free aperture of 65mm! For photographic use in particular, it can be retrofitted with a 1:10 reduction ratio fine focuser (see 'Recommended Accessories'). This allows more precise focus adjustment.
