HOFFMAN is a professional trader with over thirty years of experience trading for the largest financial institutions in the world. Aſter beginning his career in the futures pit of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, David became one of the first traders in the world to trade interest rate swaps and options for Manufacturers Hanover Trust, one of the predecessors to J.P. Morgan Bank. David went on to be a director of foreign exchange trading for Deutsche Bank, Germany's largest bank, during the 1990s. David was promoted to Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he led trading teams in both the US and Asia. In 2012, David joined a multi-billion-dollar global markets hedge fund, and most recently was the head of proprietary trading for Nomura Securities, the largest Japanese investment bank in the world. Along the way, David and his teams, earned several billion dollars in profits managing trades worldwide. David holds an economics degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Columbia University. He is the father of Jessica and Harry Hoffman. He is married to Mariam Hoffman and together they have one son, Jacob. They live in Short Hills, New Jersey.
