About ESI Ribbed Rectangle Rubber Seal – .187” Height
Ideal Door and Window Weather Seal. Fills height gaps from .125" to .188". To prepare your seal for application, cut to length with scissors or knife. Prior to installation, ensure bonding surface is properly cleaned with a 50/50 mix of denatured alcohol and water solution. Optimum performance is between 25% to 45% compression, with 25% being ideal – less than 25% compression makes the seal less effective, and over 40% places the seal at risk for compression set and failure. All products are made from a custom formulated EPDM sponge rubber compound that guarantees protection from weather and noise for years to come.
