They easily install on everything from laboratory vessels to large vats and tanks - ideal for solving viscosity, freeze protection, and process control heating applications. Blanket with control offers extra convenience and functionality with its included adjustable thermostat control. Models for metal surfaces can be adjusted between 50 to 425°f. No additional control is necessary the unique grounded heating element is laminated between two layers of extra strong 20Mil fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber. Heaters for metal surfaces have faster heat-up rates due to the 2.5 Watts/in2 power density. What's included: heating blankets with control have 6-foot long power cords with a standard 3-prong plug (120V NEMA 5-15 or 240V NEMA 6-15). rugged, moisture/chemical resistant flexible heaters provide uniform heat distribution across large surface areas maximum exposure temperature of 425°f (218°c) easy-to-apply industrial strength pressure sensitive adhesive backing.
