Designed to help facilitate temperature regulation while you sleep, this soft 250 thread count cotton blanket was created to provide a layer that insulates and cools when needed. Featuring sewn through box quilted construction and ice blue satin piping, this cooling blanket is filled with a light and lofty down alternative fiber fill. A must have if you tend to get hot while you sleep, this blanket is also machine washable for easy use and care. Engineered to keep astronauts safe from temperature fluctuations in space, Phase Change Materials (PCM) are micro-encapsulated substances that have the ability to change from liquid to solid at a low temperature. As the phase change material absorbs heat from your body surface, it liquefies, trapping heat inside making you feel cooler. When your body temperature drops, the material solidifies, and in doing so, releases the previously stored heat energy giving a warming effect.
