This is a professional level violin. We've included a Fleur-de-lys carvings to add a special touch to the uniqueness of this violin. The result is a powerful violin with a nice full voice. This violin is spirit varnished in seasoned amber. The engelman spruce is from Canada, known for their hardness, making a good full tone possible. Achieves outstanding projection and volume through a carefully calibrated high archings: D Z Strad violin, fine example of hand-crafted violin. It has a beautiful one-piece back, accented by the dark red over gold varnish, slightly antiqued. Its sound is full, even, and ideal for professional solo performances.
