About Weld-On 87730 White Seal Plus Multi-Purpose Pipe
Featuring a non-setting formula that allows for easy and damage-free disassembly of pipe joints, Weld-On White Seal Plus Multipurpose Pipe Thread Sealant with PTFE helps protect threaded areas from rust and corrosion while ensuring a leak-proof seal. This pipe sealant features finely homogenized Teflon PTFE particles that fill thread cracks and imperfections, making it a preferred choice of professionals for sealing metal and plastic threaded pipe connections. The sealant creates a pressure-tight joint that can withstand the demands of various piping systems--including those carrying air and gases, corrosives, freons, fuels, oils, petroleum, propane, solvents, steam, sugar, or water. Formulated for versatility, this pipe thread sealant works with all metal and plastic pipes, including PVC, CPVC, ABS, polypropylene, and nylon. It has been tested and is monitored on an ongoing basis to assure its chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold, BlazeMaster, and Corzan pipes and fittings. And thanks to its zero-VOC content, it helps promote a better working environment for pipe repairers. This pipe thread sealant is not recommended for oxygen, fluorine, or liquid sodium systems.
