DURABILITY: Resistant to fresh water, sea water, limewater, sewage effluent, diluted acids and caustic solutions, temporarily resistant to fuels, mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils.

PERFORMANCE: It's used above and below water line. It may be squeezed or brushed into place. Excellent bond, fast tack-free time and can be painted.

Description For secure seals in a marine environment that won't degrade due to water exposure, Sikaflex-291 adhesive and sealant offers an optimal solution. It's an all-purpose sealant that creates strong, stable bonds to a wide range of common marine construction surfaces, including wood, metal, ceramic materials, plastics, and metal primers and paint coatings. It's ideal for elastic and vibration-resistant joint seals or for a range of interior applications. Once applied, the sealant can be sanded and finished with paint for a truly professional sheen. Satisfies the International Maritime Organization standards and ISO 9001 / 14001.
