KRAKEN BOND Fire Block Sealant White Our fire barrier sealant is a single component water-based fire-rated acrylic sealant that is ideal for sealing joints in compartment walls and floors to prevent the passage of flammable gases and toxic smoke. ๐๐ก๐ฆ๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฆ โ๏ธThe joints need to be clean and free from dust, grease and rust. โ๏ธNo primer is required for non-porous surfaces. You can use a primer (a mixture of one part acrylic sealant and four to five parts water) on porous surfaces like concrete, stone, cement, and plaster. โ๏ธKeep the sealed joint dry at least for two hours. โ๏ธCured sealant can be removed mechanically. โ๏ธDamp or humid conditions will greatly lengthen the cure time. ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ Meets or exceeds the requirements of the following specifications: โ๏ธ The French VOC requirements for class A+ โ๏ธM1 Fire Rating according to NF P 92-501 radiation test. โ๏ธThe requirements of VOC content specifications in LEED credit EQc4.1 โLow-emitting productsโ of SCAQMD rule 1168. โ๏ธMore than 4 hours fire resistance without using any backfilling material according to EN 1366-4 under certain conditions.
