An Innovative Material - Fused Materials Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) is a water-soluble filament that offers many unique uses, such as printing dissolvable support structures that would otherwise be difficult to remove by hand, creating casts, complex geometries, and more. PVA is primarily used with dual-extruder 3D printers.
Easily Remove Support Structures - Once your print is complete, simply place it in water at room temperature, and the PVA support structures will begin to dissolve. Soon after, you'll be ready to effortlessly peel off the supports from your print, thus avoiding the traditional risk of imperfections caused by chipping-off support structures.
Create Complex Prints - When using a 3D printer, support material like PVA enables you to print models that would otherwise be impossible. A filament like PVA supports the material above it, allowing you to print objects that contain cavities or overhangs/bridges. This immensely expands your design freedom.
High Performance and Versatility - Fused Materials PVA works on all dual extruder 3D printer brands. PVA works with various materials, but it works best with PLA. After using PVA, we recommended using Fused Materials Cleaning Filament to prevent PVA from sitting in your extruder (available on Amazon).
Dimensional Accuracy and Consistency - We use CCD diameter measuring and a self-adaptive control system to ensure our PVA filament is consistently 1.75mm in diameter. Dimensional accuracy +/- 0.03 mm; 0.5 kg spool (1.1lbs).
Easily Remove Support Structures! Our latest advancement in 3D printing material technology is a water-soluble filament designed to enable an easy removal of the support structures from any print! PVA filament is designed to be used with dual-extruder 3D printers and is solely used to print the support structures for your 3D print. A Truly Innovative Material PVA filament is a unique 3D printing material that will dissolve in water thus eliminating the risk of imperfections caused from removing support structures from 3D prints. Safe & Easy to Use! Once your print is complete, simply place it in water at room-temperature and the PVA support structures will begin to dissolve. Soon after you'll be ready to easily peel off the support structures from your print avoiding the risk of imperfections from chipped off support structures. Don't let PVA sit in your extruder! PVA can jam your printer if you let it sit for an extended period of time. After use, be sure to properly purge your extruder by feeding about a foot of Fused Materials Cleaning Filament (Available on Amazon) Printer Settings: May vary depending on your 3D printer. - Nozzle Temp: 190 – 220 -Bed Temp: 60 C (recommended but not required) - Slow print speed 30mm/sec) -110% flow rate -Fan Settings: Use what works for you when printing with PLA -Zero Z-gap required. Note that some systems use a default Z-Gap such as Cura - PVA must be kept dry. Do not store this material in a humid environment
