Their lead singer, Stacey Webster, has an idiosyncratic, classic country voice. About the Artist The Letterpress Opry are genuine Americana, but it aint your Grandmas folk music. Grown in the deep, black soil of the American Midwest, the Opry sound like a back-alley tractor race between Doc Watson, Camper Van Beethoven, The Band, Wilco, and Johnny Cash on a bad hair day. The band embodies all of the adrenalin of a garage rock band with an appreciable love for the history of American music... from early folk and gospel, to rural country, to the soulful urban bliss of punk and jazz.
