PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH – This high-temperature rtv gasket sealant is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of industrial environments, making it designed specially for high-torque and high-vibration applications. Resists oil, water, anti-freeze, and transmission fluid.
TOUGH & FLEXIBLE – Once dry, the silicone gasket maker forms a seal that resists cracking, shrinking, and migration caused by thermal cycling, vibration, and contraction. Maximum vibration resistance, with outstanding resistance to oils, cooling, and shop fluids.
HIGH TEMPERATURE AND LONG LASTING – RTV gasket maker cures without shrinking and has a low odor and non-corrosive formula. Temperature range -65°F to 600°F (-54°C to 315°C) intermittent, making it ideal for use in automotive, industrial, and other high-heat applications.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL RTV SILICONE GASKET MAKER – Ideal for replacing gaskets on cam or transmission covers, thermostat housings, intake manifold seals, oil pans, and water pumps, guaranteed not to leak.
PACKAGE CONTAIN – 12 pcs 3 Ounce. High-Temp Gasket Maker RTV Silicone.
RTV Silicone Gasket Maker was developed to meet today's technology changes. Sensor-safe, low odor, noncorrosive. Outstanding oil resistance and joint movement tolerance. Eight times more flexible than cork/composite gaskets; and three times more oil-resistant than conventional silicones. Temperature range -65ºF to 600ºF (-54°C to 315°C) intermittent; resists auto and shop fluids and vibration. Automobile Suggested Applications: 1. Valve covers 2. oil pans 3. automatic transmission pans 4. intake manifold end seals 5. timing covers 6. water pumps 7. thermostat housings Heavy Duty Suggested Applications: 1. Cover housing gasket 2. differential 3. assembly to the rear axle housing 4. power dividers 5. axle shaft flanges DIRECTIONS: For best results, clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent Cut nozzle to desired bead size. Gaskets are best formed using a 1/16″ to 1/4″ (2 to 6 mm) bead. Apply a continuous, even bead of silicone to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble parts immediately while the silicone is still wet. Finger tighten until material begins to squeeze out around the flange. Allow to dry for one hour then retighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Silicone will skin over in one hour and fully cure in 24 hours under normal conditions. Allow more time for cold or very dry conditions. NOTE: Not recommended for use on head gaskets or on parts in contact with gasoline.
