Bird's Eye Thai Chili Peppers - These heirloom seeds will allow you to grow exotic Thai Pepper, also known as Bird's Eye Chili Pepper. This reliable plant will produce heavy yields of long, pointed peppers that are used in Asian cuisines. Harvest anytime, but peppers are at their hottest and tastiest when allowed to fully mature into a bright red.
Productive Pepper Plants - Dwarf-sized plants can be grown in Zones 3-12 if started early in cool zones. Start indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost at a depth of 1/4", keeping soil at a warm 75-90° F. Thai pepper seeds germinate in 7-14 days. After 6 true leaves appear, transplant seedlings to a warm sunny spot outdoors. Indeterminate bushes mature in 95-130 days. Each packet contains approximately 54-66 seeds.
Sustainable Living - Vegetable gardening is an essential foundation of a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Home-grown fruits and vegetables are generally more flavorful and nutritious than store-bought. These Thai chili peppers are a super addition to spice up soups and curries. They can also be preserved in vinegar or dried for long-term storage.

Each pack contains open-pollinated, heirloom seeds for growing full sun, annual Thai Chili Peppers (Capsicum annuum) in your home vegetable garden. Also known as Bird's Eye chile peppers, these compact bushes actually originated in Mexico, not Thailand. Thai peppers are attractive as ornamental plants, with their abundance of green and red spicy peppers. These tasty chilli peppers can be harvested once the dark green peppers reach their full size, but for the greatest flavor and heat, harvest when they turn a vibrant red. Pepper plants are tender perennials and can be grown outdoors year-round in zones with no frost. The dwarf, 2-foot bushes are indeterminate and will continue to produce crops throughout the warm season, but cannot tolerate cold weather. These sun-loving, heat-loving plants may need a jump start on the growing season if you live in a cooler climate or long winters. These are an excellent choice for container gardens or hydroponic systems, where they can provide year-round peppers for enjoyment. At Survival Garden Seeds, we choose the best open-pollinated, heirloom, untreated, and non-GMO seed varieties with proven reliability and productivity.
