ROASTED MAPLE TELECASTER NECK: Resistant to humidity shifts and featuring a gorgeous, dark look, roasted necks have more sustain and add a unique note to the instrument's voice.
FLAT OVAL SHAPE: Made famous by the Charvel speed neck, some people call this a D-shaped neck, as it takes the classic C shape and flattens the edges for fast playing. Hand-rolled fingerboard edges provide a slightly broken-in feeling that’s incredibly inviting.
RADIUS AND FRETS: The 12" radius fingerboard is substantially more flattened than both a vintage-style 7.25" radius and a modern 9.5" radius and is great for bending notes without fretting out. Jumbo frets make it easier to achieve wide, expressive bends that add your personal touch to your music.
SATIN URETHANE FINISH: Satin urethane provides a supremely comfortable feel that is effortless to play.
SYNTHETIC BONE NUT: Made of melamine, this synthetic bone nut offers great resonance and sustain and is pre-slotted to ensure proper string spacing.
There's no denying the allure of a roasted maple neck. Resistant to humidity shifts and featuring a gorgeous, dark look, they have more sustain and add a unique note to the instrument's voice. This genuine left-handed Fender Telecaster neck is crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico manufacturing facility. Featuring a comfortable "Flat Oval"-shaped profile and 12"-radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets, this neck was designed for pure speed and comfort. Upgraded features include a satin urethane finish and rolled fingerboard edges for supreme comfort and a broken in feel. This replacement neck is for a Fender® or Squier® by Fender guitar. Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures.
