Viltrox 24mm f1.8 E mount autofocus lens consists of 11 lenses in 9 groups, including 3 extra-low dispersion (ED) lens and 3 high-index lens to suppress chromatic aberration and control spherical aberration.

A "noiseless" stepper motor (STM focus motor) is used to drive the autofocus unit, providing fast, nearly silent and accurate autofocus performance, as well as full-time manual focus control.
