Savory Spice’s South American-inspired seasoning features the authentic Peruvian chile, Aji Amarillo. The lemony, fruity flavor of this mildly spicy chile combines in harmony with the subtle tartness of the powdered makrut lime leaves. To complete this zesty, gluten-free, sugar-free mixture we add a generous amount of high-quality ingredients starting with cumin and salt and then adding in annatto, turmeric, mild chili powder, Aji Amarillo chiles, paprika, Mexican oregano and cilantro. Savory Spice Peruvian Chile Lime spice blend has a spice level that is approachable to most palates which measures a 2 to 3 on a heat scale of 0-10. Our authentic, inspired mix is meant to conjure up flavor profiles indigenous to Peru and Bolivia featuring the often used Aji Amarillo chile. This yellow chile is commonly used as a condiment, especially in many sauces and dishes. Use Savory Spice Peruvian Chile Lime Seasoning to add authentic South American flavor to dishes made with beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetables. Perfect for dishes like ceviche, empanadas, steak Milanese, or tamales. Also great for adding zip to dressings, guacamole, marinades, sauces, soups, stews and more. QUICK RECIPES: Pork Tacos: Sprinkle generously onto ground pork and cook for 7 to 10 min., or until browned all over. Alternatively, season precooked shredded pork! Pile into tortillas and top with tomatoes, sour cream, avocado, and red onion. Guacamole: Combine mashed avocado, chopped tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and Peruvian Chile Lime Seasoning to taste. Top with extra tomatoes and another dash of seasoning and serve. Seafood: Simply sprinkle onto shrimp or your favorite firm white fish and grill or pan-fry for 3 to 4 min. Serve with rice and a wedge of lime.
