KX-TGDA83M Cordless Telephone Handset works with KX-TGD81x and KX-TGDA83x Series landline phones (sold separately) to expand your home phone system; DOES NOT WORK ON ITS OWN; MUST BE PAIRED WITH A COMPATIBLE PHONE SYSTEM. Advanced Call Blocking includes pre-blocked robocalls, Telemarketing Call Block, and the Call Block Button for an additional 1,000 numbers; a One-Ring Scam Alert lets you screen your calls for potential scammers. If you need to go hands-free the cordless phone can be used as a speakerphone or set up as a home intercom system or baby monitor. The phone will rest comfortably on your counter or table, or can be easily mounted to a wall, with an illuminated keypad (1.6 inch Monochrome Full Dot Display) so it's no problem to find and use, even in low light.
