Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) cleaning using Rislone DPF Clean is based on catalytic regeneration of DPF and this type of product works by burning carbon particular matter (soot) deposited in the filter at lower temperatures. Although DPF equipped diesel vehicles have a built-in regeneration cycle where the vehicle is run at a high speed for a certain distance (typically highway driving) when the temperature of the combustion exhaust gasses increase which helps in the burning of soot particle matter deposited in DPF due to higher catalytic reaction temperature. One of the features of Rislone DPF Clean is facilitating DPF regeneration at a lower temperature to both aid in the built-in vehicle regeneration process increasing its efficiency, but also to promote continuous regeneration of the DPF during operation at different speeds and types of driving when the system may not function. This aids in the DPF having to be replaced in passenger car / light – medium duty truck applications or having to be dismantled and machine cleaned in heavy duty trucks. Rislone DPF Clean is a full functioning heavy duty cleaner for the entire fuel and emissions system including fuel injectors, valves, combustion chambers, sensors, exhaust system, catalytic converter, and DPF filter. Rislone DPF Clean is much more than just a pour-in-tank cleaner additive, it is a regenerator in a bottle. This organometallic catalyst lowers the catalytic ignition temperature of soot particulate matter in the DPF allowing it to efficiently function in passive regeneration without more frequent active of forced regenerations.
