๐๐๐๐๐ซ ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ is a one-component acetoxy cure silicone sealant that can be used for a variety of common sealing and glazing jobs. It has good adhesion and may be used on a variety of non-porous building materials. One of the most notable advantages of acetoxy sealants is that they dry much faster than neutral cure silicone โ in fact, acetoxy silicone frequently becomes tack-free in minutes, however, it is crucial to note that it may take up to 24 hours to fully cure. Finally, acetoxy's quick dry time is an advantage, especially for those working on a deadline-driven project. ๐๐ก๐ฆ๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฆ โ๏ธEnsure that surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry and grease-free. โ๏ธThe application temperature must be between +41ยฐF and +104ยฐF. โ๏ธ In order to reduce the deformations of the joints, their depth must be much less than their width, the minimum dimensions are 0.19x0.19 in. , for wider joints, the depth should be preferably half of the width and it is adjusted by the use of backup material. โ๏ธAfter the application, the sealant must be tooled with light pressure within 5 minutes to spread the material against the joint surfaces and to obtain a professional finish. โ๏ธ Excess uncured sealant may be cleaned with solvent. Cured sealant can be removed barely mechanically. โ๏ธ0.23 in. joint depth is recommended for joint widths between 0.23 in. to 0.47 in. โ๏ธJoint width and depth ratio should be about 2:1. ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฆ โ๏ธ It must not be used in totally confined spaces where sealant cannot cure due to lack of atmospheric moisture. โ๏ธ Not recommended to use on porous surfaces like marble, natural stone, concrete etc. โ๏ธ Because of acidic curing, it must not be used on mirrors and sensitive metals like copper, brazen, or lead. โ๏ธ Not over paintable. โ๏ธ Do not use in conjunction with bitumen asphalt, neoprene and certain organic elastomers. โ๏ธ It is not suitable for food contact applications. โ๏ธ Do not contact with water.
