About Super7 Grateful Dead Dancing Bears Box Flat
When artist Bob Thomas designed the Dancing Bears for Grateful Dead soundman Owsley “Bear” Stanley, they were to only appear on the back cover of the band's 1973 album The History of the Grateful Dead, Volume 1 (Bear's Choice). Little did he or anyone know that they would become as synonymous with the Dead as trading bootleg tapes, improvised jam sessions, and global counterculture! Available in Stealie Red, Haight Purple, Electric Yellow, Leafy Green, Ashbury Orange, and Stealie Blue, they can be purchased individually or in a set of all six colors, and come with a peg stand action figure accessories that help them to remain upright while in various posed positions. Super7 makes retro collectibles, vintage toys, and nostalgia gifts for pop culture fanatics and collectors. We grew up with giant monsters, comic books, punk, science fiction, skateboarding, robots, and rebellion. No one made what we wanted. So we made it ourselves.
