About LEUCHTTURM1917 - Drehgriffel Mechanical Pencil
Inspired by the original design of the world's oldest writing instrument existed in 1920, the Drehgriffel Nr.2 has an impressive hexagonal silhouette. The tapered tip and twist mechanism feature a contrasting color to the body. [dreë][gríffel] Naming is a homage to the writing culture. Combines the word Drem (twist) associated with the twist mechanism and Griffel (pen) derived from the oldest writing instrument in Greek language grapheon = writing instruments. The twist mechanism and refills are also made in Germany and have won numerous design awards. The DREGLIFLE No. 2 mechanical mechanical mechanical is made in Germany and the twist head will open the tip zipper and lead is extruded forward. When the twist mechanism is back, the zipper closes and the wick stays in place. The core can be restored in multiple refills and comes with a chamber mechanism to push out the next refill as soon as the refills are used.
