Sola is one of the lightest woods in the world and makes for a superb bird foot toy material. Even the smallest of pet birds will have no trouble shredding these soft logs to bits.

These sola logs are excellent as straightforward foot toys. The logs can also be strung up from other toys for a chewable upgrade, or broken apart by hand for extra foraging material.

The Pk2 Sola Skin Log from M&M Bird Toys are large and chewable foot toys. These big shreddable sticks are fun for any pet bird! Each pack includes (2) large natural sola logs. These logs are made from cleanly cut sections of the Sola plant. Sola material comes from the root of a tropical species of plant also known as Shola & Sola Pith Plant. This material is lightweight, easy to break apart, doesn’t create splinters, is perfect for chewing enjoyment and all natural. These logs have natural Sola plant skin on the outside and interesting nobby parts on some logs. These lightweight logs can be chewed, foraged, shredded, hung around the cage, added to other toys and even more. Pets of all sizes, ages and abilities can have fun with these straightforward natural foot toys. Even hamsters, chinchillas, rabbits and other similar pets will love to chew the soft sola material. Easy to break up and drill holes in these sola logs are the perfect bird foot toy. Each log is made from an air dried natural piece of sola plant. As these are 100% natural items their size and shape will vary slightly and each log may have knobs and slight imperfections.
