Introducing the Tried & True Original Wood Finish, a superior blend of polymerized linseed oil and beeswax, for fast curing without toxic drying aids or solvents. Our Original Wood Finish is commonly used by woodworking professionals and DIYers alike. It's perfect for application on fresh wood for a natural look, or as a sealer over oil-based stains. It has a soft-matte sheen with excellent grain enhancement. As simple to apply as danish oil or tung oil for wood, but with superior results. Apply just enough to cause a dry to wet color shift across the entire piece with a lint-free cloth. Allow the finish to penetrate the wood for 30-60 minutes, then buff it dry with a clean cloth. Allow the piece to cure for a minimum of 24 hours, then burnish with 0000 steel wool. Additional coats will deepen the sheen and increase protection.
